Meet Tiana
Tiana Sherrod MS, LCMHC
received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in 2014. Tiana is a certified therapist with expertise in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), Structured Psychotherapy for Adolescents Responding to Chronic Stress Group Model (SPARCS), Attachment, Regulation and Competency (ARC), Trauma Informed Practitioner, and Mindfulness. She has received extensive training in these areas which has equipped her with the necessary skills and knowledge to help individuals cope with traumatic experiences and achieve mental and emotional wellness.
After years of providing services to children, families and adults Tiana became aware of the need for advocacy and normalizing seeking therapy to reduce the stigma and change the way the world viewed mental health one person at a time. As a result, she founded the mental health based nonprofit Healthy Pleasures Inc. in 2018 alongside the esteemed podcast Cope for the Culture where she serves as “The Culture’s Advocate”.
Tiana is a passionate change agent dedicated to improving mental health in her community. Through workshops and events focused on self-care and mental health, she hopes to help individuals heal and grow at a personal level, one person at a time. By normalizing conversations around mental health, Tiana hopes to create a safe and supportive environment in which individuals can work towards their healing and growth goals. Her commitment to improving mental health makes her a valuable asset to her community.
Tiana She has experience in Quality Assurance, Nonprofit/Community Based Services, Intensive In-home Services, and Outpatient Therapy for Children, Families and Adults. . Tiana has authored two self-care planners and a Reflective titled, Letters to the Queen’s Soul.
