Our Mission

 The Healing Corner, PLLC offers Trauma Focused Holistic Mental Health therapy to meet individuals where they are in their healing journey. This approach recognizes that healing is unique to each individual, thus a personalized therapeutic experience is provided. The goal is to empower individuals to take control of their healing and improve their overall well-being.

Our Vision

 We will provide a safe, holistic, trauma informed and culturally competent space for the individual to put their healing first. Our  hope is to assist the community of black and brown people as well as other communities with identifying skills and knowledge to improve and manage the quality of their lives. We aim to provide a safe and inclusive environment where individuals can prioritize their healing. By offering trauma-informed and culturally competent care, we hope to empower others with skills and knowledge to improve their quality of life. Our goal is to provide holistic support that fosters long-term healing and growth.

Meet Tiana Sherrod, LCMHC

Hi! My name is Tiana. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Trauma Therapist, 500 hr Trauma-informed Yoga Instructor, and mental health advocate based in Durham, North Carolina. With 12 years of experience in the mental health field and 10 years of practicing yoga, I am dedicated to helping individuals attune to themselves and overcome various mental health challenges.


As someone with a passion for promoting mindfulness, rest, and stillness, my primary goal is to create a safe and trauma-informed space where individuals can explore alternative methods for prioritizing their mental health, self-care, and healing. By raising awareness about the benefits of therapy, mindfulness and rest, I hope to encourage people to approach their mental and emotional wellness in a more holistic and sustainable way.
